The Traffic project: ‘An open sign for life’, aims to contribute to increase people’s awareness of the problems and the high number of accidents and violations in the city, encouraging people to be more conscious while driving.

Students of all ages often indulge in risky behaviour on the road and endanger their safety. The Awareness Drive aims at sensitization of pupils to be safe through students volunteers and leaders of social change from Traffic Cell, Govt of India.

Our initiative mainly aims to set up a program for continuous education in road safety at school. In addition, to make the action sustainable and make the initiative a pilot project in other schools.

One of the biggest problems in road safety, speeding, greatly increases the risk of accident. It is a key factor in around 30% of fatal road accidents.

“On Which Side Do You Want to Be?” is a project developed by high school students from Joinville, Brazil. The main idea of this project is to promote awareness to our future drivers on how risk behaviors can affect the statistics of traffic accidents

Road safety is important but remains an untouched topic in our school. Therefore, a group of Grade 10 students calling themselves ‘The Guardians’ decided to produce a computer game to promote and engage younger students about how to travel safely.

With this project, we wanted to make some changes to the school's environment and get people thinking about road safety.

  Our students carried out research and a subsequent awareness campaign against the use of mobile phones while driving.

Montessori school students wanted to create awareness about prevention and how easily you can save your life following rules and simple actions. They developed a road security festival with ludic activities to teach and enjoy.

The project is an awareness campaign on the need for general safety and efficiency of vehicles and transport. We want a more humane, safe, clean and sustainable city.

Our work is intended to promote an initiative that begins with a process of education and health promotion in our school at the secondary level. This is to promote an awareness campaign that we have called "One drink more, one less life".

We tried to identify and eliminate problematic key issues with the pedestrian and vehicle traffic near the school territory. We had a school event where we presented our project on a poster and we wrote a letter to the local government.

The Project aims to raise awareness in and around the school area in order to promote responsible behavior of children and parents as road users. This will attract the attention and support of public authorities, civil societies and children.

The project was conducted by the third-year high school class.The 36 students discussed the idea of traffic accident prevention by searching relative documents, talking to elementary students and organizing an awareness bike ride on the beach.

We have taken the initiative to improve the situation of our adjoining road by organising brainstorming workshops, campaigns, by trying to manage the movement of pedestrians, all of which is still in the process of improvement.

This campaign is meant to improve the safety and health of our surroundings by raising the awareness of pedestrians, drivers and cyclists. The campaign had 3 prongs: personal actions, school actions, and community actions (city).
