Our campaign has the aim to show people that all road participants are equally responsible for road safety. So we gathered all the data in order to prove that respect on the road really matters.

Making our neighborhood a safer place is everyone’s task. Moving cars from pavements, creating pedestrian zones are some of the solutions available. Let's become responsible members of society; let's change our neighborhood together.

Road safety is important for everyone in Ukraine as the number of deaths during road traffic accidents was more than 3,000, only for the year 2016. This is comparable to the number of victims in the war in the east of Ukraine.

The number of accidents that happen because of poor road maintenance is huge. That is why we decided to work on improving this situation by approaching it from different angles, aiming to make the road a safer place for both drivers and pedestrians.

Teenagers think they are smart and lucky enough not to get into an accident, especially if they live in a small town. But one day they will go to nearby cities so they must be prepared. Our aim was to help them achieve that.

According to research conducted among primary school students our team decided to do our best to help the youngest road users to be more confident and aware of the main demands of the road.

Although we live in an historic town with less road safety problems than a large city, the students’ road safety initiatives gave them a life skill they will take with them wherever they go.

To have a positive and productive day is possible when you start the day positively. The way to school should be comfortable with every convenience to lift the spirit and enjoy the route.

Our task has been to raise schoolchildren's awareness about road safety and to teach them safety rules to avoid danger on the roads by holding different activities.

We are responsible for our lives! Road safety comes first! We must have traffic awareness! Everything depends on us!

Having taken up the challenge of participating in the project, Lyceum 'Intellect' has invigorated the younger and older pupils to make a solid contribution to the global problem of road safety and to proper behavior on the road.

We did a presentation for a primary class at our school. To prevent road accidents from happening in real life, we simulated some accidents to demonstrate to children how to behave properly while on the street; we also prepared a road safety dance.

Our Lyceum is in Kyiv where there's much traffic, so we participated in the project to draw attention to road safety and to help our students to be responsible pedestrians now and responsible drivers in the future.

Our project was done for the younger children by the 10-12 year olds. During the school year, 6-formers offered interesting activities for the primary school students to teach them about road safety.

Road safety is important for everyone but a lot of students don't pay attention to the road; drivers and pedestrians often ignore traffic rules, so we decided to point out theses mistakes and educate children about signs and rules.

The roads have become very dangerous because a lot of drivers or pedestrians ignore the rules. So we decided to change the situation and help people to remember the rules and save their lives in such a way.

Students realised how important it was to tell community members about road safety in our town. We decided to start from our school and teach our students, help them feel safe in the streets, and make them aware of the road and its signs.
