Our goal was to persuade town officials of the necessity to include the community of skaters in the alternative transportation city planning and our school in the discussion and realisation of the future of transportation in our town of Martin.

We wanted to work out a topic which touches us most, and it is safety when in-line skating and quad bike riding – the most popular free time activities of youngsters nowadays.

Our story is about providing information to our youngest classmates connected with road safety together with different activities via the project. We reviewed not only our students but also people from our town by ciruclating a questionnaire.

A group of 17 students from Stredná Priemyselná Skola Elektrotechnická in Slovakia had a very important message to share with youth in their country about road safety. So what better way to get it across? A video!

For the students at IES Comuneros de Castilla, civic awareness and respect for the rules of the road are the most important factors to achieving greater road safety.

From skateboards to electronic bikes, there’s a lot of ways to move - and they all form a part of road safety! Students from Martin, Slovakia created an initiative for one mode of transport that’s both fun and safe for the environment.

Road safety is very important for people of all ages, but teens face a special set of challenges when driving. Students at Stredná Priemyselná Skola Myjava in Slovakia wanted to help their peers keep safe on the road!
