We composed a song oriented and an animation film for preschool and elementary school kids giving messages about road safety and we made presentations in several schools in a playful way to capture children's attention and facilitate their learning
The ideas
Streets, school yards are the playground for children. The most common fault of children is to try catching the balls that escape to the street. And the most common fault of children who hide-and-seek is to hide behind vehicles. Children want to sit on the front seat of the cars. However this is not correct. Sometimes adults make some mistakes in front of their children: for example speaking on the phone while driving.
The initiatives
We targeted pre-school and elementary school kids while developing this project.Children love to play games; playing games improves their development and earning skills.
We wanted to teach the correct behaviors while in traffic and to prevent incorrect behaviors. And therefore, since it draws the attention of children, we wanted to teach all these via a song and an animation.
We composed a song oriented towards pre-school and elementary school kids giving messages with regards to road safety. We also turned this composed song into an animation film. We went to schools and played our song and the animation film. We sang the song together and saw that they were entertained very much while learning.
