Reflection on the main road safety rules for pedestrians, cyclists and street users like our students aged 11–14. A survey of the road signs on the streets of our small town and suggestions to improve them.

Road safety is a serious topic, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring! Students at I.I.S.S.Tartaglia-Olivieri School remembered this when they created four fun videos to educate their peers on safe behavior.

When we think of road safety, most people think about things like drink driving, safety belts and speeding – but it’s much more than that. A group of students in Italy took action to make driving safer for the environment!

Improving road safety requires changes at both local and global level, and a group of students in Italy were able to address both needs in one initiative!

Students in this small Italian town decided to focus their campaign on the safety of cyclists, and worked hard to spread this important message to their schoolmates and to the community as a whole.

In the Italian town of Norcia, the students worked on a vision of mobility for the future and ended up requesting the reopening of a railway line.
