As part of our participation in the Renault’s competition « Your ideas Your initiatives », we decided to chose the theme of motorbike’s accidents since there are many teen-riders at the school. We made up a sensitization video and a booklet in order to spread awareness among people generally and specifically teenagers.

Our project is a raising awareness campaign on the misuse of preferential parking spaces for elderly and people with disabilities.

One critical problem in Instituto Tepeyac - Campus Guadalajara is the car jams during the periods of pickups of the students. To approach this problem we are creating an App, “Stop Jamming” that would make pickups to occur quickly and this way the traffic congestion and flow could be improved.

We are students of “Agrupamento de escolas Santos Simões” of Visual Arts course and the objective of our project is to improve accessibility and mobility for entering and exiting the school, so that the school community can be a better and safer place. For that, we used our formation and skills to draw the community’s attention to our project.

BE THE CHANGE TAKE THE CHALLENGE is a project developed by students at Gülüç İbrahim İzmirli Anadolu Lisesi,Karadeniz Ereğli ,TURKEY. In our project, we focused on the safety rules for cycling and tried to raise awareness on traffic rules and signs for cyclists.

The purpose of this project is to register how aware drivers are or not of the dangers of using cell phone devices while driving.

Traffic rules are something everyone should be aware of as, after all, they are made for us and not against us. If we follow them, they'll only benefit us. So we decided to create an awareness campaign, with several actions, to promote road safety.

In order to prevent child road traffic injuries we created different activities to educate children on road safety.

This project aims to facilitate and promote the movement to the school on foot highlighting the multiple benefits in terms of health, interpersonal relations and pollution reduction, showing that combating climate change does not involve adopting habits of less comfort or less attractive, but can also be the ideal opportunity to take more care of ourselves and live healthierly.

We want to raise public awareness regarding road safety by proposing solutions which would help decrease traffic mortality rates 

At IE El Playón, we execute an educational strategy on mobility, based on play,  with clear, concrete and achievable objectives. For this, we carry out campaigns and recreational activities in both English and Spanish with the slogan CEDA EL PASO - GIVE THE WAY in order to persuade the educational community that it is possible to reduce the traffic risk and accident rates inside and outside the school.

Our aim with this project was to encourage the use of alternative means of transport and other solutions than would reduce the traffic congestion and makes us live in slow cities, more ecological, sustainable and healthier for people and the planet.

With the desire of making people's commute and travel safer, above all in the era of population boomed and on roads filled with congestion, our group decided to deal with the problems of bad driving habits. Thus, we did the survey to find the issues, as well as make games and short stop-motion Video to warn the people and awaken their awareness of the consequently effects of the illegal lane-changing behavior.

Our aim is to help road safety to be more inclusive with people with disabilities.  Our main idea is the creation of a traffic light for the visually impaired, which would help them to move around in double lanes.

We attend elective Civic education classes in our school. In mid-October 2019 we received an invitation to  take part in YIYI competition.

Altogether ten students decided to participate in this competition in order to create a safer and more tolerant environment in the vicinity of our school.

From a very young age children know traffic rules. However, time runs and people forget even the simplest concepts that may keep them safe in intense city traffic. Our campaign emphasizes the importance of following simple rules in order to increase the level of safety on the roads for both drivers and pedestrians. To attract more attention we decided to use an unusual promotion campaign, specifically by creating a song with a catchy tune and lyrics that are easy to remember.

The school has been actively promoting road safety awareness drive from past 10 years. As pupils get promoted from primary level to middle level and begin to move independently on the road, we felt the need for age appropriate road safety handbook to be integrated with the school curriculum for developing awareness. The handbook has been drafted by 15 years old road safety volunteers of grade 11.

We decided to promote sustainable mobility and we created a poster and a magazine to encourage people to walk, ride bicycles and use public transportation. Changing our mobility habits we can make our city more environmentally friendly.

Our project encourages our community to travel in a more environmentally-friendly way with the objective of  both helping the environment and promoting the safety on the road in our society. This will be achieved through the enlightenment of all the benefits of carpooling.

Our project is entitled “ Solar Parking” and its main idea is the creation of a public parking for hybrid and electric cars, with the option of charging these cars with solar energy sources, so while the people are working they park their cars in this parking lot and the cars can be recharged. This project's main objective is to reduce the pollution caused by fuel-powered cars and raise awareness on how hybrid or electric car are more environmentally-friendly.
