As part of our participation in the Renault’s competition « Your ideas Your initiatives », we decided to chose the theme of motorbike’s accidents since there are many teen-riders at the school. We made up a sensitization video and a booklet in order to spread awareness among people generally and specifically teenagers.

Students of Les PALMIERS SCHOOL have decided to participate in this competition with the aim to convey a message and share their artistic potential. Every year between 30 and 45 percent of roads accidents are caused by crazy-high speed mainly among teenagers who are negatively influenced by movies and video games.

The road safety project is part of our annual activities aimed at raising the awareness of young learners and this year the focus was on pedestrians’ responsible behaviors.

We had detected that in order to access the Institute there were no pedestrian crossings and adequate signage.  We decided to write a letter to the Mayor of the city of Alhucemas and to the technical heads of circulation explaining the situation and the solutions that should be carried out in order to improve road safety.

Dans le cadre du concours organisé par le groupe Renault, l’école Al Madina site Polo a organisé une journée de sensibilisation à la sécurité routière, dont l’objectif était de développer les qualités requises pour être un bon citoyen du monde.

Road safety isn’t just about laws and regulations, it’s also about respecting ourselves, our community and our country. The students decided to address both aspects in their initiative – the practical side of road safety, as well as the values that go along with it.

Upon seeing the lack of road safety culture, 22 students at a Moroccan school decided to educate their neighborhood and to travel throughout the country to spread their road safety message.
