Safer Roads

The Road Safety Club at Saint Joseph School is a unique club that serves to help and improve our community. Our main mission was to rehabilitate and fix a road that leads to the main entrance of the Rosary School at Cornet Al Hamra.

G12 students took back the street next to the school. They planned 3 actions: constructing a sidewalk to make the street safer; organizing an annual Green street festival in collaboration with the municipality; and guaranteeing its sustainability.

Together we worked and discussed road safety issues in our community. We did research and had presentations from the KUN HADI organization. Since we didn't have the proper signs next to our school, we bought seven signs and installed them there.

Slow down you're driving too fast

Road safety is the responsibility of all citizens whether they already drive or not. In collaboration with Kunhadi, and funded by Tiny but Mighty, a small team of students was able to improve the condition of a road in our school area.
