We only have one life, don't waste it

In the city where we reside we have identified different problems. However, there is one that stands out above the others. We have noticed the number of people who cross with the traffic lights in red and even go through the middle of the street. Our goal is to make people be conscious of a big social issue: run over.

"An irresponsible drink with a fatal consequence"

More than 35% of car accidents are caused under the influence of alcohol while driving.  Our team wanted to take this opportunity to make a statement and prevent further accidents. To raise awareness, we created a video, a song and we made a proposal to our town hall. We want people to understand that what we learn in driving school isn’t just to pass the exam but an important rule to be alive.

Lack of accessibility facilities in the center of Vigo

We are looking forward to helping those with reduced mobility in the historic quarter of our city by creating a volunteering campaign in which teenagers, between 15 and 18 years old, can participate.

HEALTHY PATHS

This project aims to facilitate and promote the movement to the school on foot highlighting the multiple benefits in terms of health, interpersonal relations and pollution reduction, showing that combating climate change does not involve adopting habits of less comfort or less attractive, but can also be the ideal opportunity to take more care of ourselves and live healthierly.

Explaining the risks of driving in Gran Canaria by perfoming a role playing game

In the Canary Islands traffic accidents are the most relevant cause of mortality among 15 to 24 year olds.
Our challenge: use physics to make drivers aware of the risk on Gran Canaria roads by performing an entertaining role-playing game.

"On the right way" is a radio programme produced by students in Santo Tomas School, The programme focuses on road safety, lasts 30 minutes and is on twice a month. Besides listening to it live, it can be listened to in podcasts.
