The Callejeros project seeks to engage students in actions to improve road behavior, prioritizing and assessing our own perspective of the problem. A display of images was created and made available on the web to generate interaction.

In this project we aimed to discover what the main causes of traffic accidents in our community were. We created a survey and according to the people we interviewed, alcohol was the first cause. We did our work focusing on this.

Our project identified key road safety facts in our city, with the final goal of improving an automated public bike rental system by creating indicators, maps and recommendations to achieve more efficient communication between cyclists and drivers.

The educational community of the school Normal N° 1 has taken part in the protection of youth, building an environment where we can learn to respect the regulations and thus respect life. Campaign “Una Noche sin Alcohol”.

We selected the topic risk behaviors because we thought it was the closest factor to our experience. We worked in groups, searched for information and decided what action we would take to create awareness at school about this issue.

In our community a lot of accidents happen in which young people unwittingly have the leading role. The idea that emerged among the students was to create awareness about the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption and driving.

We should all be entitled to the same rights regarding road safety. Audible traffic signals are essential to grant independence to blind people while crossing the street. Therefore, we decided to start a campaign to raise awareness of this issue.

Our project consisted in teaching preschool children from Colegio Español of Rosario to properly cross the street and pay attention to the traffic lights, both the ones for cars and the ones for pedestrians.

Disorder in traffic, accidents and the lack of respect for the regulations are topics we are concerned about in our city. Early education on the rules and road signs will help us to value life and have a safe community.

Early road safety education is of real need in our communities. An essential, systematic approach to this subject with activities that are meaningful for children is necessary.

Care and prevention of traffic accidents.

  Our students carried out research and a subsequent awareness campaign against the use of mobile phones while driving.

The students of ECOS understand that their fellow Argentineans have serious difficulties abiding by the rules. This is why they chose to visit a primary school to conduct games and activities, with a view to modifying this perspective.

Our project aims to promote a new mentality and new habits to reduce stress while driving, minimising the risk of traffic accidents.

There are many factors that can contribute to traffic accidents - like fatigue, intoxication, and speeding - but high school students in Argentina have chosen to address one that is widespread and often overlooked.
